The Holy Spirit Tells Us About Jesus...
Holy Spirit inspired all scripture. 2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of
any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of
man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
even during the Old Testament writings and thousands of years before Jesus would
be born, the Holy Spirit was speaking through the prophets about Christ’s

dwelling place will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my
people. Ezekiel 37:27 written about 580 B.C.

grew like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground.
There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract
us to him. He was despised and rejected--a man of sorrows, acquainted with the
bitterest of grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he
went by. He was despised, and we did not care (not one bit). Yet it was our
weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows and our sicknesses and diseases that
weighed him down. And all along we thought his troubles were a punishment from
God for his own sins (how foolish)! Then he was wounded and crushed for our
sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. He was whipped, and we were

away like sheep. We have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet the Father laid
on him the guilt and sins that should have been ours to pay for. He was
oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led as a lamb to
the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his
mouth. From prison and trial they led him away to his death. But who among the
people realized that he was dying for their sins--that he was suffering their
punishment? He had done no wrong, and he never deceived anyone. But he was
buried like a criminal; he would have not even had a burial place if it were not
for a rich man that offered his grave. But it was God's good plan to crush him
and fill him with grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will
have a multitude of children, many heirs. He will enjoy a long life, and then
God's plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by
his anguish, that will be His satisfaction (he sought no other reward than to
care for us). And because of what he has experienced, this Servant will make it
possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. The Father will give him the honors of one who is mighty and
great, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among those who were
sinners. He bore the sins of many and interceded for sinners so that they could
once again be together with, and walk with God forever.

Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are
forgiven you." Some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning
in their hearts, "Why does this man speak blasphemies like this? Who
can forgive sins but God alone?" When Jesus perceived in his spirit
that they were thinking this to themselves, he said, "Why are you thinking
about these things? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins

you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins," he
said to the paralytic, "I say to you, rise, take up your bed, and go

Jesus arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon

I need you. I confess that I have made mistakes and that I have sinned
